About the stadium
Ibrox Stadium is one of the most prestigious stadiums in the United Kingdom. Situated on the south bank of the Clyde since 1899, it has been home to Glasgow Rangers for over a century, one of the most decorated clubs in Scottish football. With just over 50,000 seats, it is currently the third-largest stadium in the country.
Its most recognizable feature is the red-brick facade of the Bill Struth Main Stand, opened in 1929 and listed as a historic monument. The other three stands (Copland Road, Broomloan Road, and Sandy Jardine) were completely rebuilt following the 1971 disaster, a fatal crush that killed 66 supporters. They now feature a two-tier design inspired by the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund. Together, the four stands form a modernized ground that retains its original character.
The atmosphere at Ibrox is electric, driven by the passion of the "Gers" faithful. Every match, particularly in European competition or during the Old Firm derby, turns the stadium into a wall of sound.

On non-matchdays, Ibrox offers popular guided tours covering the dressing rooms, players' tunnel, marble staircase, and Trophy Room: a thorough look at the club's history.
Ibrox is easy to reach from Glasgow city centre: from St Enoch or Buchanan Street, the subway takes 10–15 minutes to Ibrox station, a short walk from the ground.
