It's a nice place to visit, but the staff is not friendly and the "tour in English" is in fact 100% in Spanish.

I specifically asked if the tour was available in English, and was told “yes, the guide speaks English and Spanish.” That was… technically true, but very misleading. We were about 20 people. The guide asked if anyone only spoke English, around six of us raised our hands, he asked where we were from – and that was basically the only part done in English. The rest of the tour: 2–4 minute monologues in Spanish at each stop, followed by a quick “any questions?” in English. Hard to ask questions when you haven’t understood anything he said. It felt more like an all-Spanish tour with a tiny English add-on, not an actual bilingual tour. Definitely 36000 undeserved pesos

I'm not personally a football fan but it was obvious that not just the local people are but also so many tourists. The place was very busy and certainly geared up for all the tourists, with so much to see. Lots of souvenir shops and photo opportunities. Local police keeping the roads clear for all the tourist traffic.

Got internet ticket but still have to wait to enter the premises then in line to “exchange” the voucher to a paper ticket. Same price- except that peso plummeted so I might have saved some money if I got it today instead of in advance. But amazing display. My late father adored Diego. I’m glad I visited when he didn’t have the chance.
