About the stadium
Located in the Nervión district, a short walk from the historic centre, the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium has been home to FC Sevilla since 1958. Built at the initiative of its namesake president, who died before seeing it completed, the ground has become a reference point for Andalusian football passion.
With a capacity of 43,883, the stadium is known for its atmosphere, particularly when thousands of red-and-white supporters belt out the "Himno del Centenario".
The Pizjuán has hosted some of football's defining moments: the France–West Germany World Cup semi-final in 1982, the 1986 European Cup final, and the 2022 Europa League final. The Spain national team went unbeaten there for over 50 years.
After several rounds of renovation, the stadium now features a tiled mosaic facade and updated spectator facilities, while retaining the feel of a traditional arena.
The Sevilla FC Stadium Tour takes visitors behind the scenes at one of Spain's most decorated clubs: dressing rooms, the presidential box, press room, the pitch, and the "Sevilla FC History Experience" museum, which traces over a century of the club's past through trophies, shirts, and tributes to its greatest players.
Between history, atmosphere, and modern facilities, the Sánchez-Pizjuán is one of Spain's most impressive stadiums and a genuine destination for football fans.
