Camp Nou

Opened in 1957, Spotify Camp Nou is the home of FC Barcelona and a defining symbol of Catalonia. Designed by architects Francesc Mitjans, Josep Soteras and Lorenzo García-Barbón, it replaced the old Les Corts ground, which had become too small for a club on the rise.

With 99,354 seats, Camp Nou is the largest stadium in Europe. Its blue and garnet stands have hosted countless matches, fiery Clásicos, major European finals, and witnessed generations of blaugrana legends, from Kubala to Cruyff to Messi. Across the terraces, the club's motto reads: "Més que un club" (more than a club).

Located in the Les Corts district, the stadium also houses the FC Barcelona Museum, one of the most visited in the city. It covers over a century of history and silverware. The Camp Nou Experience (currently replaced by an immersive tour during construction) takes visitors through the dressing rooms, press room, players' tunnel and a dedicated space for Lionel Messi.

Since 2023, the stadium has been undergoing a major overhaul as part of the Espai Barça project, a €1.45 billion renovation that will increase capacity to 105,000 seats and add a roof fitted with solar panels. While the reopening is expected by late 2025, Barça is playing its home matches at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
