About the stadium
Designed by architect Izaskun Larzabal, the stadium combines comfort, good sightlines and sharp acoustics. The stands carry names such as Aitor Zabaleta and Tribuna Familiar, a nod to the identity and passion of the txuri-urdin (white and blue) faithful. The atmosphere is known to be warm, never more so than on derby day against Athletic Bilbao.
On non-matchdays, the Reale Arena is open to visitors. The interactive tour takes you behind the scenes, through the auditorium, the dressing rooms, the players' tunnel and the presidential box, and includes a 360-degree virtual reality experience out on the pitch. The visit is rounded off by the Real 100 museum, which traces more than a century of club history.
The ground is easy to reach from central Saint-Sébastien, by bus 17, 21, 26 or 28, or from the Anoeta train station. It sits within a busy sports complex and occasionally hosts rugby as well as major international concerts, from U2 to Bruce Springsteen.

Really nice stadium and very good atmosphere! Must visit places!
Wow,what an experience & a half. Full of traditional pre - match singing & celebrations outside stadium. Than full ,glorious traditional celebrations of both teams & singing & warm ups We were seated 7 rows from the pitch & observed not only the players & football so ,so closely, a joy, but also absorbed the full atmosphere of the stadium ,fantastic match :- "Real Sociadad vs Barcelona". Real Sociadad amazingly won. Wonderful game - Goals scored by both side & rushford cane iff the bench & scored * brilliant . I've been to quite a few foitball matches but this was just electrifying & so,so safe & disciplined event in everway. Local Celebration were amazing.
What a blast! First European fútbol experience for this Americano and I can't wait for the next one. Estadio de Anoeta Is a beautiful venue, and the energy of the local fans is absolutely infectious.
Beautiful stadium, close to the city centre, walking distance. Only drawback for me is the seat numbering system if you can call it that, it’s very confusing. I found my seat with help and spent lots of pre show time helping bewildered people find theirs! Also spent evening in corporate box, very nice experience
We just stopped at the football shop on our way to Bilbao and realised that there is a food festival at the stadium on 28 May -1st June, which allows you to enter the stadium for free. We could not ignore the opportunity to see Reale Arena inside and we had the best steak of our lives there. Our son enjoyed running around on the grass without shoes 🤭. By the way, fc store is great. We did not leave empty-handed.
At the end of 2022, we took the time to visit this stadium, although only for a few moments and photos from the outside due to time constraints at that time. We deliberately stopped by here after previously enjoying the beach atmosphere in San Sebastian on a business trip with colleagues from Indonesia. Although we could only see it from the outside, we felt the grandeur and magic of this stadium. It's a shame that we didn't have enough time to see the inside of the stadium in detail, but we were satisfied with just taking a few photos in front of the stadium with the children who were going to do football training at the Real Sociedad junior club.
