About the stadium

Craven Cottage is a piece of English football's soul on the banks of the Thames. Opened in 1896, this 29,600-seat ground is home to Fulham FC, London's oldest professional club. With its red-brick Victorian facade, wooden seats and the famous corner pavilion known as "the Cottage", designed by the Scottish architect Archibald Leitch, it carries the history and charm of another era.

Despite recent work, including the striking Riverside stand that now looks out over the river, Craven Cottage has kept its character. There is nothing oversized or showy here. People come for the football, the hushed atmosphere and the songs that ring out between the Johnny Haynes and Hammersmith End stands.

The ground is easy to reach from Putney Bridge station (District Line). The walk takes you through Bishops Park, along the Thames to the main entrance on Stevenage Road. For supporters, the trip has become a ritual in itself.

Whether you come to watch the Cottagers or take a guided tour that runs from the dressing rooms to the players' tunnel, Craven Cottage is a must for any football fan passing through London. It is a historic, intimate and thoroughly British setting, where the love of the game has lost none of its elegance.

An amazing Stadium, both modern and classic. The pitchside seats are truly unique, just inches from the players!

The smallest stadium we have been too but but was very classy and tastefully done (Fans were still great). It is in a posh part of London and the stadium and service of the staff were amazing. We did the hospitality experience and it was 5 star. Some of the best food, drink, service and seats we have had of all the Premier League Games we did. We saw 2 goals and a win by the home team. On the river Thames. Classy and amazing experience. Highly rate and reccommend.

Took a stadium tour. Great experience and informative and friendly guide (His name was Trevor I believe). For anyone interested in the history of football in London more generally, this is definitely worth checking out. The tour lasts around 45 minutes and there's plenty of things to do nearby.

The Fulham FC Craven Cottage Stadium tour, isn't just for Fulham supporters. All the staff that were met were friendly and welcoming and our stadium tour guide Mark, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the football club, it's history and quirky architecture. Well worth the money, and you can relax after the tour with snacks and refreshments overlooking the river. Highly recommended great day out.

We purchased Riverside hospitality tickets for the Fulham vs West Ham match for a modest price. The stadium’s location is fantastic; being right by the river makes it very iconic, and the structure of the stadium itself is quite unique. However, since it is next to the river, it can get quite windy, so it is a good idea to dress warmly. As for the Riverside hospitality experience, there is an open buffet with food and desserts before the match, during halftime, and after the match, along with unlimited drinks. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience, and I would definitely like to attend another hospitality event in the future.

This stadium is truly special and offers a unique experience that not many top flight clubs can offer anymore. It’s literally the best experience for professional soccer and situated perfectly right along the Thames river. I personally love the old school style and gives a cozy vibe that makes you feel like you’re around family.

Its an absolutely lovely football stadium. Had a lovely tour guide called George. He was very informative and took time to answer everybody's questions. Staff in the reception and shop also very helpful and friendly. Overall a nice experience.

Oldest London club and the most intimate stadium with an exceptional atmosphere. Travelling there can be a bit of a pain, however it's very well organised for supporters and non-supporters. Definitely worth a visit if you're a football fan.
