About the stadium
Opened in 2019 on the historic White Hart Lane site, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the most modern grounds in Europe. With 62,850 seats, it is the second-largest stadium in the Premier League, behind Old Trafford.
The South Stand is the defining feature of the design: a single-tier block holding 17,500 supporters, modelled on the Yellow Wall at Dortmund. It is the loudest section of the ground.
The stadium also has a retractable pitch, the only one in Europe: the grass surface rolls back to reveal a synthetic field built for the NFL, allowing the venue to host several American football games each season. The ground has also been configured for concerts, rugby, and boxing.
Inside, there are more than 60 food and drink outlets, including the Goal Line Bar (at 65 metres, the longest bar in Europe), an on-site microbrewery capable of pouring 10,000 pints per minute, and a range of premium hospitality lounges.
The stadium runs a popular immersive tour that takes visitors through the dressing rooms, the tunnel, and out to the pitch side. The Dare Skywalk attraction follows a route across the roof with an open view over London, directly beneath the club's golden cockerel.
The ground is well served by public transport, with connections from White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Seven Sisters, and Tottenham Hale stations.
